I sneak over here often to read all of your exchanges. You always seem like a nice bunch and every time I've chatted with Maura after a concert she seems lovely. I wonder if anyone has suggestions for the perfect village to rent a cottage in for the last two weeks of March in Kerry or Clare. We'll be doing a couple of weeks in Derry before for my work and then want to set up for a bit in the West. I want to take the boys--8 and 5-- to Dingle and Moher and Bunnratty and the park at Killarney, all the usual tourist things, but we do want them to meet some regular folks and to have the chance to walk on the beach. My oldest still remembers eating at the bar in Dingle and the sheep who stopped the cars on the road to Slea Head when he was 6. Castlegregory? Ballybunnion--too much golf? Simple is better than fancy. Any suggestions are much appreciated. I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Thanks so much, Sandy

Ballyvaughan in Clare, or Kinvarra just over the Galway line are gorgeous areas, with easy access to the Burren, great scenery. Further south, Doolin is a favorite, too.
Do a google search on those, you'll find a lot of houses.

Hi there.
it is me, Mike, from the west county Inn, in Ennis County Clare. My cousin, Mary, rents out a cottage in Coorafin, just outside of Ennis, County Clare.
It is a nice little cottage and if you are interested, you can let me know and i can give you her email. I just saw the cottage today and it is very cute.
PS..I am stting in the lobby of the hotel..my time clock is all messed up! It is 2 am Irish time and I cant sleep for the life of me!
Hope all is well, and that you all had a nice X-mas. I hope to visit O'Deas on Friday or Sat.
Hope everyone is well!
Mike
