How does anyone believe Maura O'Connell is "just a singer" I ask? Maura excels as an artist who is an irrefutable master of that most unique of all musical instruments--the voice. I just received "Naked with Friends" and am transported! Since first hearing Maura on Austin City Limits singing "Feet of a Dancer" years ago my heart, head, soul, feet and the rest and best of me have turned time and again to her for healing, and more. Thank you Maura. I too can be just a singer, naked with friends from being in the range of you magnificent Voice.

I really enjoy "Naked." I like how she makes "I Know My Love" a singalong in her live shows...It is really fun!

If you do have the opportunity to see her live at some point, you definitely should! As good as her records are, she is even more magical live.

Living near the New York area, I am lucky...Maura comes around once in a while...(never enough though!)

Where I live in the northern coastal county of Humboldt, California, a whole lot of great folks do stop in en route between San Francisco and other stops--we are "Behind the Redwood Curtain" yet many love our enthusiasm and gratitude for somebody coming here...I wish Maura would. Bela Fleck, her long time friend has several times. Coming here is worth it when worked into a calendar...Kiss the Big Apple for me!
