Okay, for a long time, I've had a dream, hope, wish, fantasy? Pick one. Regardless of which word works for you, I've imagined MMM, Marvelous Ms. Mo, singing with the following:

John Cowan--whoa! Would we all fall over in disbelief from the power of these two singing together or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim Lauderdale--even though they've done this already (Hands Across the Water), I want more

Aretha Franklin--now this would just be loads of fun, wouldn't it?

So, what do the rest of you think, eh?????

She's done these already (I think) but I'd love to see these in person..in this order...Van Morrison, John Gorka, John Prine, Paul Brady and Mary Black.

Now the wish about one she hasn't done....that Aretha Franklin one sounds so dang intriguing, I'll agree with that one. How about Bruce Springsteen, that'd be a gas! and we know he's a fan! If Allison can sing with Robert Plant why can't Maura sing with Bono, that'd be fabulous too.

No offense at all to Richard McLaren or Don Johnson (they're Great!), but a duet on "Blue Train" with Jesse Winchester or Lyle Lovett doing the other high part to Maura's would be exciting.

That is a good question...I always wonder how the duet on Blue train would have turned out (It was supposed to be a duet with Marc Cohn). I think that would have been neat...

I am partial to Emmylou Harris or Alison Krauss....Two songbirds...I think it would be cool for Maura to sing a song with Emmylou.
