Hi everyone! I just registered after reading some of the other posts on shows that Maura has done. My wife and I have had the pleasure of being at quite a few Maura shows in the past. Then children came along and time and finances became limited. Well happily my children are almost grown (do they ever leave? :D ) We just purchased a table of 8 for the City Winery show in March and are extremely excited! Anyone else from here going to this show? I love "Naked With Friends" and Maura and hope to meet some of you other fans at the show. BTW my name is Bill.

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the boards...

I might be going to the March show...I would love to (but Sundays can be difficult). I am certainly going to try.

Anyhow I am enjoying "Naked" and really enjoyed her concert last month...

Again, welcome to the boards.

Mike

Bill, welcome, as a big Maura fan this is the site! She and her music hold a special place for us.

The City Winery show in March is on my radar, I sure hope I can be there too; it sounds like a nice venue, and it is always fun to see Maura as the headliner where she gets to do more songs than being part of an ensemble.

Having said that, the recent Jerry (Douglas) Christmas Show was a blast too.

Good to have you on the board, Bill!

Hey, any of you guys have a size 48 tuxedo (no weird colors!) I can borrow? I've got to escort her to the Grammys. I'm looking forward to it, but somehow my old tux got shrunk at the cleaners. Last time I went to the Grammys with her was 1991, in good old NYC. Radio City, etc. We had a helluva time. I like LA, but....

Welcome, LongIsland Maurafan, we are glad you're here, and glad you're going to be at the City Winery.

Hi Mac,

Too funny...no tux here, but have a great time....I wish the grammys were still in New York, so I could gawk...but alas...You will have a great time hob knobbing (sp?) with everyone!

Hey, Mac, I boorowed my buddy's tux years ago, he never needed back until recently, it doesn't fit either one of us anymore, it's a size 38, so it won't be any good for you..........PLUS, it's blue.....just kidding about the color.

Have a helluva time in LA, and I am sure prayin' the gal will bring home the hardware, have a good time either way.

Kind of a loopy grouping of Nominees, making it hard to handicap, I guess.

Mac, City Winery, NYC in late March, sound like a road trip, probably not doable, eh?
